KIM INSLEY

Quality Assurance/Quality Enhancer Officer

Kim has been a primary teacher and is now a lecturer in education at UCL Institute of Education. She leads innovation and enterprise in her department and three programmes for teacher education. Kim is an experienced Lecturer with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry. Skilled in Research Design, Programme Evaluation, Lecturing, Curriculum Development, International Teacher Education, and Public Speaking. Her international work has been in a range of countries including Amenia, China, Jordan, India, Myanmar, Pakistan, and UAE. 

She co-led the first, Understanding the Theory and Practice of Nurture Groups course at the IOE, supporting Sylvia Lucas in establishing it as an accredited module within the Advanced Educational Practice Programme.

Kim is co-author of the Nurture Curriculum Guidelines.

Kim has recently been promoted to Associate Professor for Education at UCL. Her post begins in October 2021. Many congratulations Kim.
