The book complements the Digital Developmental Portrait. It offers strategies to support each of the 16 key questions. It can be used with small groups or whole class developmental needs. 
The Implementation of the strategies suggested in the Developmental Portrait Quality First teaching strategies, (QFTSB) will lead to better outcomes for all children. 
As learning is incremental, it is essential to meet children’s developmental needs to improve learning and achievement. 
Wellbeing of the whole school community will also improve as teachers become more confident at meeting children’s developmental needs alongside their academic needs.
