Sensory Day Training

Service Description

This is a one-day (6 hours) training programme. Staff will learn how sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems impact on children, young people, and adult’s daily lives. Staff will learn about the window of tolerance, how sensory information can cause dysregulation, and how to support children and young people to recognise and manage their own window of tolerance. All participants will receive a copy of the book, The Developmental Portrait: Sensory: This missing piece of the jigsaw.
